Do I need any special documents to check into an international hotel?
Yes. You will need to present a valid credit card issued to the guest name on your reservation for any incidental charges (e.g., phone calls, room service). Debit cards are not acceptable.
A valid ID, issued to the guest name on your reservation, is also required at check-in. International hotels usually request identification and proof of citizenship. This can be established by presenting either: 1) a passport, or 2) a driver's license and an original (or a certified copy) of a birth certificate. You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary travel documents.
