All hotels require a valid credit card and some also require a valid ID and proof of citizenship (passport or birth certificate). The ID and credit card must match the guest name under which the room is reserved. Hotels will require a credit card authorization to guarantee payment of any incidental charges you may incur during your stay. The amount of available credit needed will vary by hotel. Any incidental charges (e.g., parking, local phones calls, room service) are additional and payable directly to the hotel at checkout time. Other hotel charges, including resort fees or convention fees, must also be paid when you check out.
