What is Trip Protection Insurance?

Trip Protection* is an affordable insurance plan that Hotwire offers through our partner, Allianz Global Assistance. The plan is offered on Hot Rate®Hotels, and combines travel insurance benefits with emergency hotline services. Depending on the plan you select, your Trip Protection may provide coverage for cancellations, interruptions, emergency medical and dental, emergency medical transportation, baggage loss, baggage delay, and travel delay. Trip Protection does not cover non-emergency change of plans.
