Will I be able to extend my car rental or return it early?

Discuss extensions directly with the rental agency. You can find their phone number on the contact portion of your confirmation.  Hotwire only guarantees the quoted rate for the prearranged length of your reservation. The agency rate for additional days may be significantly higher than the Hotwire rate.

Regardless of your reservation type, if you return your car early, you will not receive any refund for unused portions of your reservation.

Car rental policies vary by booking, you may be able to cancel it without penalty and create a new reservation with any rental duration you like. To cancel your reservation, go to your "My Account" page.  There, you'll see all your activity including profile, itineraries, and saved searches.
 
Hot Rate^® Car rentals are final and cannot be cancelled, refunded, changed, exchanged or transferred.
